CWA members across the country have met with the candidates to press CWA's key issues -- passage of the Employee Free Choice Act, health care reform, retirement security, fair trade and good jobs. Now they are working to elect Barack Obama as president. Paid for by the CWA Committee on Political Education - Political Contributions Committee, with voluntary contributions from union members and their families, and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
Virginia_Members of CWA Local 2222 joined with more than 200 volunteers from 30 other unions along with CWA staff to participate in labor walks in neighborhoods all over Northern Virginia on October 11. Walks are being conducted daily, but weekend walks are attracting hundreds of volunteers.
